Kazimir Malevich and the Melnikov House are two icons of the Russian architectural avant-garde. Malevich laid the conceptual foundation for a new way of thinking about space, while the architect Konstantin Melnikov brought those ideas to life in his famous house-studio in Krivoarbatsky Lane.
